I was born in 1977 in Ordu. I studied Türkish  Language and Literature in Marmara University in Istanbul and graduated 1999. Between 1999 and 2015, I worked as a teacher in various schools in Istanbul. I am currently continuing my professional life in Germany.

My stories, poems and articles have been published in various magazines and internet sites. Lodos Güncesi (poetry) was published in 2015, Yalpa (short stories) 2019 from h2o Kitap, "Gökçukuru" (short stories) in April 2021 from Can Publications.

I translate books in literature, politics, and social sciences:
“The Comming Insurrection”, Invisible Committee, Sel Publishing, 2012; “The Enchanted Island”, L. Frank Baum, YKY 2015; “Let Them Eat Junk'”, Robert Albritton, Otonom Publishing, 2016; “Focus”, Arthur Miller, Sel Publishing, 2017; "Oneness vs. 1%, Vandana Shiva, Yelkovan Kitap, 2021

Gökçukuru is a book that came out of my childhood, the feeling of loneliness and alienation. I guess we live forward until a certain age and then backward. We begin to reconstruct the past in our mind more often, to think about our experiences more. Of course, the strength of the moment never diminishes. "Cihan", "Boon Nam" and "Kleinmann's House" are the stories of such moments.

The writing process of the stories coincided with the pandemic period. It was the first time I'd had this much time since my college years. As usual, I kept sending the stories I wrote to my friends and asking for their opinions. I am so lucky to have such friends around me, who will tell me the truth. In this sense, the criticisms of my friends have been very helpful to me. Thank you very much to them.
